I'm developing a blog search engine. The current offerings in the field (technorati.com, blogsearch.google.com) are mediocre and don't offer much on top of normal web search engines. Doing blog search well is a difficult technical problem, but I think it can be done. I've made some progress working on it next to my day job, but I intend to take it on full time soon. I currently have a crawler/spider component and have indexed about 1M blogs in the past week.
I'm looking for skilled and experienced programmers as co-founders. I'm working in Common Lisp, but Programmers of other dynamic languages (e.g. Python, Ruby) are welcome to apply. I'm based in Munich, Germany but am reasonably flexible for the right team.

I'm still in stealth mode (no public demos yet), but I've developed a new, proprietary multimedia technology, web and mobile-oriented, that encourages creative expression on the part of users. Like most web 2.0, we're providing an option to use the tech for free, but unlike most web 2.0, we also have a way to use micropayments to generate revenue from the beginning. The bulk of the code is in Python, and my Boston-based partner and I (I'm near Philadelphia) are building the site in Django, a Pythonic version of Ruby on Rails. Besides the non-techie parts of business, i.e., legal and accounting, the most important places where we could use help are in viral marketing, analysis of algorithms, and system administration, the latter two especially to support scaling. Homethinking is a service that monitors real estate transactions to help rate real estate agents for home owners. We are angel funded so far and have just launched.
